The restaurant "La Vecchia Compiano" is a popular meeting Gourmet, located in the town square of the village, a typical medieval village at the heart of the Taro Valley. The restaurant is located in an ancient and elegant palace formerly owned by Marco Rossi Sidoli major of the "Dragoni Ducali" of Maria Luigia.

The walls restoration revealed and architectural background of great value, giving back to the building the importance it deserves. The restaurant has about 70 seatings where you can taste a simple but genuine cuisine, such as the "maltagliati" pasta and the "castellana fowl" accompanied by a great variety of wines.

The restaurant has a room inside the castle Compiano ideal for banquets and wedding dinners, or in the park itself. During the summer the cocktail bar has an area equipped in the square in front of the room where you can spend pleasant evenings.
